Greetings! 

My name is Jane Henry and I am the third & fourth grade teacher at Genesis Prep for the coming school year.   This will be my first year teaching at Genesis and I am thrilled to be a part of this wonderful “family of families."

I received my B.A. in Education from Central Washington University, majoring in Early Childhood Education. For the last nine years, I have taught multiple grade levels at a Christian school with most of my experience in third and fourth grades.

It is my conviction that God has called me to be a teacher who is a relationship builder and “trains up a child in the way he should go…” (c.f. Proverbs 22:6).   My passion is to introduce children to their Savior, Jesus Christ, and then to help them develop their relationships with Him. In the area of academics, basic biblical truths will provide the framework for all our learning experiences as we purpose that God be glorified in everything we do.

Besides my passion for teaching, I love music! To be able to encourage and assist children in singing praises to God… what a joy! I also love a good book, Mexican food, Starbucks and rollercoaster rides. Silverwood… here I come!
