Hi to all you Jags, Jag families, and Jag hopefuls! Allow me to introduce myself. I am Ms. Crichton, or as I have been dubbed by the students, the Commander In Chief of the computer lab. (Of course, that really just means I'm Genesis' resident computer nerd, but shh! I'm undercover!)  As you may have guessed by now, I teach computers -- that means keyboarding, Ms Office, and web design. I also teach creative writing and drama. I have been teaching at Genesis for one full year now; I absolutely adore it and consider it a wonderful blessing from the Lord. I very much look forward to my second amazing year, as well as to seeing the awesome students I know again and meeting and getting to know my  new students.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in English with a minor in film, having graduated valedictorian from my class. I am a published poet, journalist and novelist, have worked with both the Spokane Civic Theatre and North By Northwest Productions, and have many years of technology-based education and experience under my belt as well. I am currently in the processes of earning my Idaho state teaching certification for 6-12 Language Arts, at this date fully enrolled in the National Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence.

Lastly but most importantly, I am a mother of 5 wonderful children. Cisily -- 12, Emily  -- 10, and Joei -- 7, will all be attending Genesis this year and I am so excited about that! My two babies, Conrad -- 4 and Briar -- 1, will be joining us at Genesis when they are old enough. I have a passion for this school, for this ministry, and for everything Genesis stands for, and hope for myself and my children to be a major part of it -- the students, staff, and families -- for years to come.
