Greetings!

I bring with me to Genesis many qualifications and experiences, both from America and abroad.  I've traveled to 13 countries and even taught in central Europe for nearly four years at an international school.  My Idaho certification permits me to teach all secondary mathematics through Calculus as well as all secondary science, including physics and chemistry.

While there are few subjects in the science and mathematics realm I haven't taught yet from 2nd through 12th grade, I look forward to new ones with gusto.  I have a passion for teaching, and I truly enjoy ministering to and connecting with young adults on a personal level.

In my classroom, I work hard to create an environment that caters to multiple learning styles and various student personalities.  I seek to meet the needs of my students individually, creating projects for those who want to go beyond the subject, as well as generating skill building opportunities for those who need remedial help.

As to my hobbies, I love long walks and hiking with my 85 lb dog, Cody.

When I have time, I like to do crafts and artwork, as well as read.  I'm a coffee connoiseur and especially enjoy curling up in a comfy coffee shop chair to people watch whilst sipping away on a good mocha.
