Interested In Learning More About Genesis?

You are invited to an informal Parent Information Meeting, being held at the school on Sunday, July 13th, from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. (Rm #4 in RLM1 bldg.).  A short presentation will include the history of the school, its philosophy, values and vision, and an explanation of admission requirements.  Much time will be given for questions and answers.  A brief tour of the classrooms will end the meeting.  Children are welcome to attend, but please note the format is discussion-style for adults.

  • Please note that the final two informational meetings of the summer are scheduled for July 27th and August 10th.

Welcome Message

by Marc Goodwin, Principal

Welcome!  On behalf of the entire Genesis family I would like to extend our warmest greetings as you visit our new and improved website.  Here you will learn about our mission and philosophy of education, meet our administrative and teaching staff, download forms necessary for enrollment and participation in school activities, and access our school calendar and sports schedules.  In addition, you will also find answers to frequently asked questions about our school programs and community.  I hope you will visit regularly as we plan to update and add resources in the coming months in order to better serve you.

Genesis, as our name implies, is a place of exciting "beginnings" for students of diverse ages.  This coming year we are taking an ambitious step -- adding four elementary grades (1st - 4th) to complement grades 5 & 6, as well as extending our high school program through grade 12.  Our full-time teachers are state certified and committed to sharing their love for God and passion for learning with others.  With small class sizes, they are also able to offer individual attention to each student and utilize instructional methods to accomodate various learning styles.

With a firm foundation now in place, the Genesis community of students, parents, staff and school partners look forward to growing as a "family of families" in the years ahead.  If you aren't currently a member, we invite you to "come and see" what God is doing in and through His children here.  And please let me know how we can best serve the needs of your family.

Warmly,

Marc

by Ken Smitherman,  A.C.S.I. President
