GPA Volunteer Opportunities
Looking for dads or grandfathers who want to play a role in keeping our campus safe and secure?
Time Frame: Throughout the school year

Volunteers will help after school to teach foundational sports skills to students in 1st-6th grade.
Time Frame: Each sports program will last 6 weeks.
Cross Country: September-October
Basketball: November-December
Volleyball: January-February
Soccer: April-May

Work with other class parents and teacher/sponsor in your child’s class to facilitate special events in the classroom. Help organize class parties, auction class projects, Teacher Appreciation Week, and other events. These positions are filled at the beginning of the school year.

Assist with set up and tear down, coaching, scorekeeping, clock operating, statistics, line judging, and more.
Time Frame: Middle & High School athletic events during the fall and winter seasons.

Help with planning, auction item procurement, set up and tear down.

Annual Daddy Daughter Dance

Work with your child’s teacher(s) to provide whatever assistance is needed in the classroom, chaperone field trips, plan class parties, manage reading groups, other miscellaneous needs that the teachers may have.

Be willing to take photos of school events and classroom events throughout the school year. Coordinating the events with the Yearbook Advisor is crucial to ensure all events are covered.

Work with office staff to provide whatever assistance is needed within the school. This could include assistance on picture day, office paperwork, data entry, or making phone calls.
